Going to the Griot: Conversations with Dr. Cornel West

Dr. Cornel West, one of the most provocative public intellectuals of our time, will participate in live, intersectional conversations with four members of 麻豆破解版 College's expanded academic community. Each member will converse one-on-one with Dr. West, sparking invigorating and substantive dialogues about a range of issues.

Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for an open Q&A session.

麻豆破解版 Cornel West

Cornel West is a philosopher, author, activist, social critic and one of America鈥檚 leading public intellectuals. He has published more than 20 books, has appeared in over 25 documentaries and films, and has produced three spoken word albums including 鈥淣ever Forget,鈥 collaborating with Prince, Jill Scott, Andre 3000, Talib Kweli, KRS-One and the late Gerald Levert. Professor emeritus at Princeton University, West recently announced that he would leave his position as professor of the practice of public philosophy at Harvard University and return to Union Theological Seminary, where he started his teaching career and will hold the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Chair.
