Diversity in the Curriculum

In the Classroom
An open, ongoing and interdisciplinary examination of cultures catalyzes an environment empowered by ideas and actions that promote and protect diversity. Our innovative minor in intergroup relations is the first in the U.S. Majors such as language studies, Asian Studies or others enable students to explore a focused interest.

In Experiential Learning
The campus community’s commitment to inclusiveness extends to myriad experiential-learning opportunities such as civic engagement, internships, summer educational experiences and others. Individual academic departments and faculty, as well as college offices, provide information specific to students’ needs, interests and abilities. Also available are unique opportunities for networking and leadership development.
