Linda Simon, professor emerita of English, spoke on the life, work and mission of William James Jan. 28 at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, which is in the process of changing its name to William James College. School officials note that James is known in the U.S. as the founder of American psychology. Simon鈥檚 talk covered James鈥檚 early life and road to a career in psychology and how he shaped the field.
