Lisa Aronson
Lisa Aronson, associate professor emerita of art history, of Ghanaian culture and art Aug. 23 at Bow Tie Cinemas in Saratoga Springs. The discussion
followed the screening of the documentary Doing Jewish: A Story of Ghana. Aronson has visited Africa and taught on African art and the diaspora, Native America
and pre-conquest Meso- and South America.

Diana Barnes, professor of world languages & literatures, was quoted in an Aug. 4 Daily Star story titled "." Barnes, a member of the Saratoga Springs Human Rights Task Force and frequent visitor
to Mexico, criticized recent raids and arrests by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement
agency.
