Rebecca Johnson
Rebecca Johnson, associate professor of psychology, was recently interviewed by magazine for a story in the spring 2018 issue on Intelligence. Johnson's work, using eye-tracking to explore the cognitive processes underlying reading, focuses on the relative importance of letter positions during reading and demonstrates that although the human reading system is flexible in being able to decode misspellings, even minimal errors come at a cost to reading speed.
