Sarah Goodwin, professor of English, and Jeff Segrave, professor of health and human physiological sciences, delivered a workshop titled 鈥淓mbedding Visual Literacy Goals in an Integrative General Education,鈥 at the Association of American Colleges and Universities鈥 Network for Academic Renewal conference, 鈥淐reating a 21stt-Century General Education: Responding to Seismic Shifts,鈥 in San Francisco, Feb. 14-16. They were joined by Hannah Goodwin of Mount Holyoke College and Hannah Segrave of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Sarita Lagalwar, associate professor of neuroscience, and Bernie Possidente, professor of biology, attended the Northeast Undergraduate Research in Neuroscience Conference at Quinnipiac University Medical School with nine 麻豆破解版 students, who presented posters about their research. The students were Wenqin He '21, Mingjia Li '20, Simon Goldstein '19, Rebecca Sohn '19, Neha Amatya '20, Cris Gil '20, Nikoleta Chantzi '22, Sophia Zhang '21 and Han Hansen '19. Max Hegge '19 and Melanie Martinez '22 also contributed but did not attend.
Jennifer C. Mueller, assistant professor of sociology and director of 麻豆破解版's Intergroup Relations Program, recently spoke on 鈥淏uilding a Critical Race Theory of Ignorance: From Empiricism to Theory and Back Again鈥 at the Racism and Racial Experiences (RARE) Research Lab at Rice University.
