麻豆破解版 Spotlight: Elizabeth Tybush
Elizabeth Tybush works as the administrative assistant for engagement and stewardship
in 麻豆破解版鈥檚 Office of Advancement. In her role, she reaches out to donors who support
the College and shares stories of their philanthropic impact.
Tybush joined 麻豆破解版 as a matriculated transfer student and employee in 2018 after
completing her associate degree in fine arts.
鈥淚 believe in 麻豆破解版鈥檚 mission with regard to diversity, equity and inclusion,鈥
she said. 鈥淭here are so many people here who are passionate about the topic and who
want to learn and grow together.鈥
Tybush is a regular participant in the Scholarly and Creative Endeavors (SCE) writing
groups that are managed through the Center for Leadership in Teaching and Learning.
鈥淚鈥檓 so thankful to the SCE groups,鈥 she said. 鈥淭heir encouragement and their advice
helped me land a fellowship with the MDOCS Storytellers鈥 Institute in June as the
inaugural staff fellow..鈥
Aside from her activities on campus, Tybush has independently published two novels
and is working on publishing a third. She has performed on stage, she has composed
music and she has even made films, one of which earned two awards. She is also an
avid video gamer and recommends MDOCS鈥 3D Storytelling class to anyone interested
in video-game creation.
