Faculty-Staff Achievements
Jeremy Chiera, network technician, has completed his Cisco Certified Network Associate certification
program, which involved multiple years of practical work, online training classes
and passing a two-hour certification exam. The certification is good for three years.
Catherine Golden, professor of English, published a teaching article in in which she recounts how she designed a virtual gallery exhibition for her course on the Victorian Illustrated Book during the shift to remote learning. Her exhibit, 鈥,鈥 can also be viewed through COVE. In addition, Golden presented on this exhibit-based digital pedagogy as a member of a virtual panel for the North American Victorian Studies Association.
Ron Seyb, associate professor of political science, was about the selection of Kamala Harris as Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden鈥檚 running mate.
Sonia Silva, associate professor of anthropology, was invited by the journal Current Anthropology to write a 1,000-word comment, 鈥淭ime Interference or Time Elasticity,鈥 on an article published in the journal, 鈥淗aunting, Dutching, and Interference: Provocations for the Anthropology of Time.鈥
