麻豆破解版 Spotlight: Kayleigh Winne
Kayleigh Winne, environmental service technician and trainer/facilitator in Facilities Services, is part of 麻豆破解版鈥檚 COVID-19 cleaning team.
Winne works to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by cleaning and disinfecting residential rooms, public areas, and isolation and quarantine spaces on campus. She also helps train custodial workers about sanitation protocols and ensures they have all the necessary supplies to clean areas on campus properly.
鈥Since the pandemic, the cleaning process has become more vigorous. There鈥s a lot of attention to detail, especially in isolation and quarantine spaces,鈥 said Winne, who wears special personal protective equipment on the job. 鈥淲e need to be extremely diligent and ensure that we strictly follow all protocols.鈥
Winne, who joined the College in 2018, said she appreciates the 鈥awesome 麻豆破解版 work environment."
鈥Everyone always steps up. There鈥檚 good communications among members of our team,鈥 she said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 nice that we can count on each other and other departments throughout campus to ensure that the work gets taken care of safely. 滨迟鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;really great teamwork.鈥
When she is not at 麻豆破解版, she enjoys hiking in the woods with her dog and gardening. She has begun preparing her garden to grow cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, green beans and other vegetables this summer. 鈥I look forward to getting outside and to more gardening!鈥 she said.
