Jenny Huangfu Day, associate professor of history, published "" in the journal Twentieth-Century China.
Jordana Dym, professor of history and director of Latin American and Latinx Studies Program, gave an invited lecture for the IV Congreso Centroamericano de Historia on April 22. Her presentation focused on the strengths and weaknesses of a robust, inclusive but indirect electoral system in early 19th-century Central America.
Giuseppe Faustini, professor of Italian, delivered a paper, 鈥淧irandello poeta,鈥 for the Pirandello On Air webinar, sponsored by the Pirandello Society on April 30. Faustini also participated in a panel discussion.
Christopher Mann, assistant professor of political science, was interviewed by the for an article about the impact of the census apportionment of congressional seats.
Kelly Melekis, associate professor and chair of the Department of Social Work, has received a Fulbright
U.S. Scholar Program award to teach and conduct research at Vytautas Magnus University
in Kaunas, Lithuania, as part of a project on social work in a global context. Her
research will explore cultural variations in palliative and end-of-life care and end-of-life
care education.
