He also gave a talk on his forthcoming book, 鈥�,鈥� as part of the Global Politics Seminar Series at Northern Illinois University.

Rodrigo Schneider, assistant professor of economics, and Peter von Allmen, David H. Porter Chair and professor of economics, co-authored a paper with Garrett
Munck 鈥�21, 鈥�,鈥� in the Economics of Governance.The research, which provides insights into policies related to participation in the
winter games, including the games in Beijing, originated as part of Munck鈥檚 undergraduate
economics thesis in spring 2020.
Marketa Wolfe, associate professor of economics, co-authored the article 鈥�,鈥� in The Conversation. The article has been picked up by dozens of media outlets
nationwide.
