麻豆破解版 Spotlight: Amy Murray
Amy Murray, budget coordinator for , provides administrative support for all of 麻豆破解版鈥檚 19 varsity teams. She also creates and submits NCAA and U.S. Department of Education Equity in Athletics Acts (EADA) reports annually.
Murray first joined the 麻豆破解版 community in 2015 as an instructor for Zumba classes for students, faculty, and staff. In 2018, she was hired full time in Information Technology and moved to Athletics last summer.
鈥淚 love the community here: My co-workers, regardless of what department I have been in, have always been so welcoming and willing to help. There is always this focus on constantly learning; that has been pretty unique to my experience here versus other jobs I鈥檝e held.鈥
Murray has been especially appreciative of the 麻豆破解版 community鈥檚 return to campus this academic year and opportunities to enjoy traditions like this year鈥檚 Big Green Scream.
鈥淭he energy of being in the same room with co-workers and students can鈥檛 be recreated over Zoom.鈥
When she is not on campus, Murray enjoys spending time with her family and two golden retrievers, lifting weights, running and doing 鈥渁nything fitness-related": 鈥淚鈥檓 always pushing myself to see if I can do better than my last workout.鈥
