Paul Arciero, professor of health and human physiological sciences, was quoted in a article on the effects of dietary nitrates on boosting muscle strength.
Laurie Rabinowitz, assistant professor of education studies, co-authored an article in the International Literacy Association's children's literature journal, The Dragon Lode. The article, entitled 鈥淭he Intersection of Dysconscious Ableism and Niceness in Teachers' Critical Readings of Characters with Disabilities in Picturebooks,鈥 investigates how classroom teachers describe their beliefs, concerns, and planning process for enacting read-alouds featuring characters with disabilities.
Jeff Segrave, professor of health and human physiological sciences published "The Legend of Bagger Vance: Golf and the Search for the Authentic Self, in Aethlon: The Journal of Sport Literature (Vol. XXXIX, No. 1: 2021/2022, pp. 39-50).
Kurt Smemo, associate professor and director of the environmental studies and sciences program, was co-author on a publication that studied environmental controls on the distribution and abundance of soil fungi in northern hardwood forests of the Adirondacks. The in the journal Soil Biology and Biochemistry in collaboration with scientists at Indiana University and Kent State University.
