Paul Arciero, professor of health and human physiological sciences, was quoted in the Medical News Today "Cardiovascular disease: Taking 500 more steps each day may help lower risk."

Lucas Perello, visiting assistant professor of political science, contributed to the on Honduras and Nicaragua for the 50th Anniversary Edition of Freedom in the World by Freedom House.

Michael Swellander, visiting assistant professor of German, published the "The Arabic-Spanish-Jewish School of Poets: Heinrich Heine's 'Jehuda ben Halevy' and World Literature" in The Germanic Review: Literature, Culture, Theory. It shows how the poet Heinrich Heine imagined the geographically dispersed, multilingual literature of the Jewish diaspora as prefiguring the concept of world literature. It further argues that Heine's meditations on Jewish literature anticipate contemporary discussions about untranslatability and multilingualism in world literature.
