Yelena Biberman-Ocakli, associate professor of political science, published "The Ethics and Security Challenge of Gene Editing" in the , 鈥淭he Putin-Prigozhin Game of Proxies鈥 in , and 鈥淭he Indo-Pacific Is No Place for NATO鈥 in . She was awarded the John F. Richards Fellowship by the  and selected as a Wilson China Fellow by the .

Gwen D'Arcangelis, associate professor of gender studies, published an entry under the term "Gender" in the anthology,  

David Domozych, professor of biology, and Kaylee Bagdan '24 recently published a paper entitled, 鈥淭he cell biology of charophytes鈥 in , describing the distinct cell architectures and subcellular systems in the group of green algae most closely related to land plants.

David Domozych, professor of biology, and Josie LoRicco, postdoctoral research associate in the department of biology, recently published a paper entitled, 鈥淭he extracellular matrix of green algae鈥 in . They published a second article, 鈥淓ndosidin 5 disruption of the Golgi apparatus and extracellular matrix secretion in the unicellular charophyte Penium margaritaceum,鈥 in the , with co-authors Lily Kozel, coordinator of the 麻豆破解版 Microscopy Imaging Center (SMIC), Kaylee '24, and Ruby Epstein '25.

Stephen Ives, associate professor of health and human physiological sciences, published an article, "Impact of high intensity interval exercise with and without heat stress on cardiovascular and aerobic performance,鈥 in , in collaboration with Alexs Matias '18, Isabelle Albin '18, Leah Glickman '18, Peter Califano '18. Professor Ives also published an editorial, 鈥淩owing: advances in training and performance,鈥 in .

Rebecca Johnson, professor and chair of psychology, published an article based on research conducted with Cara '08 and Megan Wootten '20. "Keep Clam and Carry On: Misperceptions of Transposed-letter Neighbours" was published in the . 

Josie LoRicco, postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Biology, and Kaylee Bagdan '24 attended the (ASPB) Plant Biology Conference held Aug. 5-9 in Savannah, Georgia, and presented posters titled, 鈥淓xperimental Interrogation of the Golgi Apparatus and ECM Secretion in the Green Alga, Penium margaritaceum鈥 and 鈥淧ectin and Stress-induced Changes in Morphogenesis in the Streptophyte Green Alga, Penium margaritaceum.鈥 Poster co-authors include Ruby Epstein '25 and David Domozych, professor of biology.

Susannah B. Mintz's, professor of English, memoir 鈥淟ove Affair in the Garden of Milton鈥 has won in the Literature and Grief category. Mintz also has an essay on literature and disability in the forthcoming due to be published next month. 

Tom Oppedisano, head golf coach, qualified for the Senior PGA Professional National Championship, to be contested Oct. 26-29 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

A.J. Schneller, associate professor of environmental studies and sciences, published "Transformative ecojustice pedagogies: Outcomes of sociology students mentoring high school service learners" in the. The article was written in collaboration with Isaac Bardin '19, alongside members from the Sociology Department at SUNY Albany, the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and the Radix Ecological Sustainability Center.
