Strategic Planning for Creativity and Academic Excellence
Dear Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well. As we continue to build on our commitment to academic excellence and creativity at 鶹ƽ, I am pleased to invite you to join us in a collaborative effort to support strategic planning at the College. We welcome your participation in a community forum for faculty and staff in Academic Affairs on Wednesday, October 30, at 4:30 p.m. in Emerson Auditorium in Palamountain Hall.
The forum's focus will be “Creativity and Academic Excellence,” one of the central themes of our strategic plan. Our conversation will be guided by five questions that will serve institutional strategic planning and help to set the course for the Academic Affairs Division for the next five years. These guiding questions have been shared over the last several weeks with Chairs and Program Directors, Academic Affairs leadership, CEPP, FEC, CC, and the Middle States Steering Committee for broader discussion. The forum is a critical opportunity for us to gather input from colleagues in Academic Affairs, reflect on our collective strengths, and explore how we can continue to foster a culture of creativity that is core to our identity. Our conversation will also gather feedback from the community on things we should consider releasing to focus on what makes 鶹ƽ a college of choice. The information will be collated and used to support the strategic planning process.
