Jeanne Marie Monroe

Jeanne Marie Monroe, a member of the housekeeping staff for 16 years, died December 30, 2013.

Born January 5, 1959, in Corinth, N.Y., she was the daughter of Marie A. Monroe and the late Gerald F. Monroe.

Jeanne became a 麻豆破解版 housekeeper in 1996 and retired in 2012. Richard Mickus, manager of custodial operations, said, 鈥淲e鈥檙e really going to miss her in the department. Jeanne was the kind of person who would always do something on behalf of others, even if it meant going without herself.鈥

Richard enjoyed what he called Jeanne鈥檚 鈥渋ntelligent鈥 sense of humor. 鈥淵ou had to really think about what she said in order to get some of her jokes,鈥 he explained. Colleen Manning, supervisor of events and housekeeping, called Jeanne 鈥渁 great employee. She had a dry sense of humor, and she was always smiling. I am going to miss her a lot,鈥 Manning said.

Co-workers recalled her as a 鈥渢ruly good person鈥 who enjoyed her work at 麻豆破解版 and also took great delight in her pets.

In addition to her mother, Jeanne is survived by a son, Frank Labadie of Saratoga Springs and by siblings Linda (Steven) Cram and Jerry (Sadie) Winchell of Fair Haven, VT; Edward Rogers of Sumter, SC; Richard Monroe of Dalzell, SC; and Lauren Rogers and Irene Jenkins of Greenfield Center, NY. Other survivors include aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
