John Bradley
John Bradley, a longtime member of the Custodial Operations staff, died Feb. 11, 2015. He was 75.
A graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, Jack worked at the Gideon Putnam Hotel and the Saratoga Raceway harness track before joining 麻豆破解版. He was a campus custodian for 22 years, retiring in 2001.
Guy Thomas Hawthorne, a colleague of Jack鈥檚 and fellow retiree, remembered how much Jack enjoyed going to New York City to see baseball games. Each man had his own allegiance: 鈥淛ack was a Yankee fan, and I was a Mets fan,鈥 said Guy. 鈥淲e really enjoyed when the two teams played each other.鈥 He and Jack also enjoyed the occasional poker game, and 鈥淛ack was the better player,鈥 he admitted. The two traveled to Atlantic City several times.
Along with playing and watching sports鈥攈e was also a New York Giants fan鈥 Jack enjoyed attending performances of the orchestra and ballet at SPAC.
Jack was predeceased by his wife, Mary, and son, David. His survivors include daughters Aleah (Kirk) Wendell and Alinda Nichols, both of Saratoga Springs, and Tracy (John) Bateholts of Gansevoort; daughter-in-law Janice Bradley of Saratoga Springs; and three grandchildren.
