Village Treats for the kids of faculty and staff

Village Treats is an enchanting evening of trick-or-treating for the kids of 麻豆破解版 faculty and staff, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 29, at Northwoods and Sussman apartments. Saratoga Book Festival   

President Conner, alumna Cleyvis Natera 鈥99 (鈥淣eruda on the Park鈥), and English Professor and Salmagundi Editor Bob Boyers will be among this year鈥檚 presenters at the Oct. 12-15 On Sunday, Oct. 15, a film screening of 鈥淭he Right to Read鈥 will take place at 1 p.m. in Gannett Auditorium and will be followed by a 3 p.m. discussion between President Conner and local nonprofit and business leader Ed Mitzen.

Ensemble Connect performance and residency 

Ensemble Connect 鈥 a group of the finest young professional classical musicians based out of Carnegie Hall 鈥 returns Oct. 24 to 28, for their biannual residency and performance at 麻豆破解版, now in its 17th year. Their performance at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, in Arthur Zankel Music Center will feature Franz Schubert鈥檚 lively 鈥淭rout鈥 quintet, Samuel Barber鈥檚 鈥淪ummer Music,鈥 and Missy Mazzoli鈥檚 鈥淪till Life with Avalanche.鈥

Celebration of President Emeritus Philip A. Glotzbach

Playoff berths are on the line this weekend as the Thoroughbreds host several key home Liberty League games. The men鈥檚 soccer team is home for a weekend doubleheader with RIT Friday at 4 p.m. and Ithaca Saturday at 2 p.m. Field hockey takes on Vassar in a Sunday game at 2 p.m. The volleyball team hosts Bard on Saturday at 11 a.m. and Ramapo at 3 p.m. in a non-league game.
