Professional Development and Training
New Employee Orientation
Professional development and training at Â鶹Æƽâ°æ begins with our New Employee Orientation (NEO) program. All new community members (exempt, faculty, non-exempt and union employees) are invited to attend this half-day program. The program enables new employees to explore life at Â鶹Æƽâ°æ through a variety of departmental presentations. The purpose of this program is to provide an overview of the college and the opportunity to meet with other members of the Â鶹Æƽâ°æ community.
networking
Â鶹Æƽâ°æ College sponsors Employee Affinity Groups (EAGs) to enhance our community culture by providing engaging programs and opportunities for connection for Â鶹Æƽâ°æ faculty and staff. Groups are employee-led, employment-related, and formed around interests, backgrounds, identities, and common ties.
Staff professional Development
In addition to the NEO, staff professional development programs are offered throughout the year. To help build community across campus, Human Resources also hosts informative gatherings through Networking Events, giving community members an opportunity to strengthen and build working relationships throughout campus.
