In It 2 is a suite of diversity and inclusion programs designed to raise our cultural fluency and strengthen our community.

Beginning on Wednesday morning with a special community coffee hour and running through Friday In It 2 offers a range of programming opportunities for your engagement.

In It 2 is coordinated by the inclusion liaisons (representatives from each of the College鈥檚 divisions) with thanks to the Committee on Intercultural and Global Understanding (CIGU).

Skylar Kergil 芒鈧劉13 is a transgender activist, YouTube personality, singer-songwriter, and artist. His videos, which offer an honest and thorough look at the process of gender transition, have educated, uplifted, and inspired thousands. Skylar is a recipient of the Trevor Project Youth Innovator Award and lives in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.

Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum is a psychologist, administrator, educator, and President Emerita of Spelman College. Tatum is the author of the widely acclaimed book Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria: And Other Conversations 麻豆破解版 Race. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tickets are required for this event and will be available at the Zankel Box Office. The event is free to 麻豆破解版 students, staff, and faculty. Tickets will be provided exclusively to the 麻豆破解版 community until October 6th, then opened to the General Public.

芒鈧揝auti芒鈧 (芒鈧揤oice芒鈧 in Swahili) follows the efforts of five young women who were brought to Uganda's Kyangwali Refugee Settlement as children and who, as they approach adulthood, strive to pursue their dreams for a future beyond the constraints of a protracted refugee situation in an underdeveloped host country.

Executive Producer and Director Gayle Nosal '79, and Associate Producer and Director Beret E. Strong (parent of Marcus Tweedy '19) will participate in a post-screening discussion. Co-Sponsored by the Office of Advancement and the John B. Moore Documentary Studies Collaborative (MDOCS).
