Kimberly RattleyKimberly Rattley is an organizational development specialist who for over 20 years has partnered with clients to bring clarity, focus, and alignment to their diverse teams. She combines her expertise in business, leadership development, diversity, psychodrama, and systems analysis to help them competently tackle what is next on their horizon with confidence.

Ms. Rattley has an extensive background in academia. At the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences she designed and delivered a national diversity curriculum for military medical providers. Her experiential training methodology was the basis of a five-year research project that validated the power of using whole brain teaching methodology to ensure learner engagement and retention. She also received a Cosby Fellowship for her research on identity development formation and its importance to individual self-efficacy. Happily, she is in the final stages of her book, 鈥淭he Power of Having a Ball,鈥 which provides neurological research and techniques on how to build critical thinking, creativity and innovation competencies in adults.

Kimberly holds a BA from Georgetown University, a Masters of Social Work from Howard University and is certified in the areas of Life Management Facilitation and Organizational Development from Georgetown University.

The Cook Ross everyday bias workshop is built around Cook Ross鈥 PAUSE鈩 model for disrupting bias. In this workshop, participants will learn how to disrupt the impact of bias in interactions and decision- making at work by implementing each step of the model.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain how bias functions and its impact on decision-making
  • Examine how experiences and identities shape biases
  • Practice strategies to disrupt bias
