Carolyn Forch茅 is one of the country鈥檚 leading writers and human rights activists. Forch茅's latest, widely discussed book is 鈥淲hat You Have Heard is True,鈥 a memoir of her human rights work in Latin America. Her books of poems include 鈥淭he Country Between Us,鈥 鈥淭he Angel of History,鈥 and 鈥淏lue Hour,鈥 among other titles. She has won dozens of awards, including the Yale Series of Younger Poets Prize, The Lannan Award, The Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and the Morris Hiroshima Foundation Award for Peace Activism.
