Host your event with us

We'd love to host your department meeting or event. The Surrey's first floor can be reserved for meetings and events internally up to six months in advance.

Partner with Conferences and Events

Event specifics are subject to approval and must be discussed with the Conferences and Events team in advance to determine appropriate use of the facilities and campus resources. Special setups of the furniture are limited in nature to preserve the integrity of the space. Maximum occupancy for seated events is 48, standing receptions cannot exceed 100. Please note that the inn remains locked, except during scheduled meeting or events.

Food and alcohol

Events involving food and beverage must be catered by Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Dining Services. Use of outside caterers is prohibited. No food is permitted to be brought in. To serve alcoholic beverages, a minimum of 30 days' notice is required to secure proper permitting.

Priority service

Event Priority is given to Â鶹Æƽâ°æ College organizations and activities during the academic year; however, we welcome private, non–college-related events (i.e. Â鶹Æƽâ°æ community member may book the Surrey for personal events), based on availability.  Event rental fees for personal, non-college-related events for Â鶹Æƽâ°æ employees may be discounted up to 20% (exclusions apply).

Blackout dates

Surrey will be blocked for the following major college events including but not limited to:

  • Celebration Weekend
  • Board of Trustees meetings
  • Commencement weekend
  • Reunion weekend
