The road to our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan
Our community is embarking on collective, critical work to define our institutional priorities, develop outcomes/activities related to each institutional priority, and ensure that our resources are aligned with our aspirations. Throughout the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 academic years, we will develop a new five-year Strategic Plan to guide our institution from 2025–2030.
Planning Themes
- Creativity and academic excellence
- Increasing the endowment for need-based financial aid
- The residential student experience
- Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
- Sustainability
Fall 2024
- Engaging our community: During the Fall 2024 semester, students, staff, and faculty will continue to be invited to participate in planning conversations.
- Regular communication and information-sharing: As we proceed, updates will reported on this website, through internal email communications, and at college business sessions such as the faculty, staff, Board of Trustees, and IPPC meetings.
Spring 2025
- Drafting and review: We aim to complete an initial draft by February 2025. The draft will be shared with campus constituents for feedback to ensure where we're headed reflects the collective vision and aspirations of our community.
- Finalizing the plan: After a feedback period, the final version of the 2025–2030 Strategic Plan will be presented to the Board of Trustees in May 2025 for their review and approval.
