- Ethel Maria Yarbrough, a former housekeeper, died August 15, 2011, in Saratoga Springs. She was 102.
- David Yergan, a longtime member of the Theater Department and an alumnus, died September 22, 2013, in Albany after suffering a stroke. He was 54.
- Erline Youngblood, a longtime member of the Dining Services staff who reportedly was Â鶹Æƽâ°æ's first female cook, died May 16, 2013, at Saratoga Hospital.
- James Youtsler, professor emeritus of economics, died January 18, 1995, in Delray Beach, Fla. He was 87.
